The observation post

How do we perceive water in our everyday landscapes? What happens beneath the surface and at the water's edge? To explore these questions, I developed various tools that provide different perspectives on water. Through their use, I guided people into the bend of the river, offered a frog's-eye view, and revealed the flow beneath our feet. Over four days and at four different locations, I created a collective logbook with visitors, capturing observed moments from each site. This logbook featured unusual elements viewed and noted from unique perspectives. This project was done in collaboration with a geo-hydrologist from the Brabant water board, KOP (an art development platform), and Breda Wandelt.
